tank won't stop filling?

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Shut off water supply to toilet and flush toilet to drain water from tank. Notice the dial on the underside of the new flapper. Setting 10 allows the most water through the flush valve when flushed; setting 0 uses the least amount of water. Start with the flapper set to 10.

  2. Remove old flapper from mounting ears and unhook chain.

  3. Slide the arms on the new flapper to setting A or B to align on the flush valve. Most toilets use setting A. Snap arms onto mounting ears. Flapper should move freely when raised and lowered.

  4. Hook chain onto tank lever arm. There should be minimal slack when the flapper is closed. Remove clip and hook it a few links closer to the flapper to shorten, if needed. Use old flapper chain length as a guide.

  5. Turn on water supply.
